It's not just share prices that have been falling today.
We have been informed today by our suppliers in China of falls in the prices of Calcium Silicon, Ferroboron, Medium Carbon Ferromanganese, High Carbon Ferromanganese and Ferrosilicon with silicon contents of 65%, 70%, 72% and 75%. There have also been falls in the prices of Calcium Carbide, Ferrosulphur, Silicon Carbide, Ferrotitanium and Ferrovanadium
Percentage falls are in the region of 5%.

New Products
Hamilton Minerals And Metals Ltd was formed on 9 September 2008 to take over the existing minerals and metals trading business of Cradlebay Ltd.
Cradlebay Ltd was formed in 2004 as a multi-industry trading agency and brokerage dealing in minerals and metals products and agricultural commodities. On 1 May 2008 Cradlebay opened www.minerals-and-metals.com , a website dedicated to Cradlebay's trading activities. The website, along with this blog and our companion blog Minerals And Metals Prices are now being run by Hamilton Minerals And Metals Ltd.
Over the past few weeks we have working to increase Hamilton's portfolio of products and have been speaking to producers in both China and India and in the next few days we will begin adding details of a range of new products on to the Minerals And Metals website and also here on our blog.
