Indian Steel Prices To Fall By June

Mr Rastogi Steel Secretary has said that the domestic steel companies will likely lower metal prices in June following the fall in long term fuel prices according to the India Infoline News Service.

Steel prices in the country may fall by INR 3,000 per tonne after June because long term global rates for coking coal are expected to decline.

Mr Rastogi said that coking coal prices in the immediate delivery market have fallen by a third to USD 200 a tonne. The domestic steel companies will likely lower metal prices in June following the fall in long term fuel prices.
