Rio Tinto To Resume Dampier Loading

Rio Tinto announced on Tuesday that it will resume on Wednesday iron ore loading operations at the Port Dampier terminal in West Australia.

Operations were disrupted by tropical cyclone Dominic on Monday and six iron ore carriers were sent out to sea for safety. Oil and gas production facilities were also shut down.

BHP Billiton and Woodside Petroleum shut-in output at a number of operations off the Pilbara coast.
