Chinese steel manufacturer Sinosteel has secured land at Haldia in the Indian state of West Bengal for its cold forged steel rolls manufacturing unit, a top official said on Wednesday.
“We will take another one year for the commissioning of the project. The project will come up on 30 acres,” Zhang Zhuizhou, general manager of the company#s project department of the company, commented as he attended the 16th International Steel Seminar being held in Kolkata.
The company will invest $30 million in the project, which will manufacture cold forged steel rolls being used in cold rolling mills.
