Recently, Aquarius Platinum resumed the construction of its ferrochrome reprocessing plant of Everest mine in South Africa. The company's UG2 ferrochrome production line with the annual production of 216,000 tons was estimated to put into the production in September, 2010.
The construction of the reprocessing plant began in July, 2008, but was suspended as Everest mine's mining activities ceased in December, 2008.
Aquarius is negotiating on the production exclusive sales agreement.
