Indian Government Set To Sell 10-15 Per Cent Of Coal India

India’s Coal Minister, Mr Shriprakash Jaiswal, has said that the country’s government will divest 10-15 per cent of its stake in Coal India within the next six-months.

"The process has already started” Mr Jaiswal told reporters on the sidelines of the ICAI awards ceremony in Mumbai.

Mr Jaiswal informed reporters that Coal Ministry officials would be meeting senior officials from Coal India, the Department of Disinvestment (DoD) and capital market regulator SEBI later this month to take forward the process of listing the PSU.
