JSW Steel, one of the leading steel makers of India, which has invested Rs 105billion in the last eighteen months on expansion and acquisition and has said that its total expansion expenses would be Rs 140billion by 2010.
It has entered into a joint venture for setting up a steel plant in Georgia with an initial capacity of 175,000 tonnes re-highsale bars per annum. The company has decided to invest 49 per cent of the equity.
