Tronox Inc. said Wednesday it is raising prices on titanium dioxide in the North America, Latin America and Asia-Pacific regions.
The Oklahoma City-based chemical company will increase prices by 5 cents a pound in North America, and by $150 a tonne in Mexico, Latin America, and the Asia-Pacific region.
The price hikes in North America and Latin America are effective June 15 and the increase in the Asia-Pacific region is effective July 1.
Tronox cited significant increases in freight, energy and other input costs as the reason for the price increase.
