South Korea Unconcerned At China Iron Ore Investments

South Korea is not concerned at China's efforts to secure Australian iron ore supplies by making strategic equity investments, South Korean Trade Minister Kim Jong-Hoon told reporters on Monday.

Kim was asked whether Seoul was concerned about Chinese investments in Australian mining firms, given that South Korean steel-makers were also major buyers of Australian iron ore.

Kim spoke after a meeting with Australian Trade Minister Simon Crean about bilateral free-trade talks.
