The largest Ukrainian ferroalloy producer, Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant, has announced the re-commissioning of its melting furnace No 1.
The decision to re commission its melting furnace No 1 is in line with NZF’s plan to increase its production output in May.
NZF had by then restarted three of its melting furnaces, and thus was operating six furnaces producing ferromanganese and silicomanganese. In November 2008, NZF had stopped production output due to the lack of demand.
